The Communications Division of the City of St. Louis
offers a student internship program year round. The
internship program is under the direction of André Holman,
Video Production Manager.
Nature
of Work
This is specialized work developing
and producing programming in a variety
of formats for the City of St. Louis local
government access channels. Responsibilities
may include program production duties such
as video and audio recording, lighting,
editing, operating alpha-numeric equipment
and field production work. Qualifications
Candidates must be currently enrolled
in a Communications related program at
a participating college, university or
junior college; and be certified
as eligible for an internship by the appropriate
faculty or administrative staff member.
Students must be available to work a minimum of nine (9) hours per
week, with preference given to those who have flexible hours Monday-Friday
and are available for as-needed Saturday and Sunday assignments. OFFICIAL
VERIFICATION OF ELIGIBILITY MUST BE SUBMITTED
WITH THE RESUME. RESUME SHOULD INCLUDE
RELEVANT COURSEWORK. CANDIDATES MUST ALSO
SUBMIT A TRANSCRIPT.
Candidates may be called for an interview based on
their availability and an evaluation of their academic
performance.
